Grid that I have made are underneath the guide This is a guide to make accurate paint tool designs using photoshop. First off pick the design you want to create. I will be using the nWo logo. Then create a new image on photoshop. Then go to edit, preferences, and then guides grids and slice. Then use the setting i have used below. Then go to view, show, and then grids. Then go to view and check that extras has a tick next to it, if it hasnt, click it. Then go to edit, image size. If the image is taller than it is wide, make the height 255pixels. Or change the width to 255pixel if it is wider. And then go to image, mode, and click Indexed Colour. Then change the amount of colours in the box that appears, to how many colours there are in your image, i put 2 as there is only black and white., this will make it easier to copy the grid across from photoshop to the game. Then click the magnifine glass tool on the left hand side toolbar and zoom in to different sections of your image and copy it across. To make it easier, press ctrl-r to show the ruler, and right click the ruler and click pixels. Use you mouse to line with the pixel that you are copying across, this axis will line up the the one in the game. When you have zoomed in and put the ruler up, you ill have something that looks like the image below. On the ruler, the top ruler represents the x axis on the paint tool, and the left ruler represents the y axis, the zoom amount that i use is 1817.41. To use these images, copy the image into photoshop, and simply add the grid, and zoom and copy across 128x128 grids Stone Cold Steve Austin Goatee Palette Needed The white is there as the background, this will not need to be copied across 256x256 grids Palette Needed The black is there as the background, this will not need to be copied across
